President Uhuru Kenyatta has taken a stand on the ongoing demolition spree, sounding a warning and demanding arrest of those individuals who approved the construction of demolished buildings in Nairobi.

The demolitions exercise being led by Nairobi governor Mike Sonko is targeting more than 4000 buildings which sits on illegal land or riparian lands.
