The job offer has had a sharp drop in Kenya linked to the health emergency caused by the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Among the measures adopted by companies, the suspension of hiring is one of those that has the greatest impact on job creation.
Despite this, there are a series of vacancies that are reluctant to disappear in the face of Covid-19 and some even show urgency to fill. Although the job offer that remains active demands a diversity of profiles, the reality is that operational positions predominate.
The pandemic has closed doors in some areas, while in others it has created more opportunities.
Food, pharmaceutical, logistics and distribution, and cleaning industries , have pushed the offer of vacancies.
