In Just three weeks, already we had 4 Kenyans dead in a cruel manner, or meeting their creator earlier than expected.
Even the thought of your family member going off your radar was enough to hand your cronies sleepless nights until he or she was found.
We look at some of the deadly horrifying news of Kenyan ladies who died in the month of September alone in 2018.
1.Sharon Otieno
Sharon Otieno who was reported missing on Monday 3rd of September 2018, was found dead four days and her was body dumped along a roadside bush.
Nation Journalist Barrack Oduor escaped death by jumping out of the moving vehicle moments after he was kidnapped by the second year student who was studying Medical Records and Information at Rongo University.
Her dad confirmed her death after viewing his daughter’s body at the Oyugis Level Four Hospital in Oyugis.
Governor Okoth Obado’s Personal Assistant Michael Oyamo was arrested at Uriri town. Mr.Oyamo had led the victims into a trap before they were taken away.

2.Monica Nyawira Kimani-21st September
Citizen TV’s top anchor was one of the key witnesses being interrogated by police after her husband Joseph Kuria Irungu, alias Joe Jowi was arrested on suspicion of being a key mastermind behind Monica Kimani’s brutal death.
Jowi who recently got engaged to Maribe in 2018 July, has been traced to the event using his phone activities moments before the death of 29 year old Monica Nyawira Kimani on 20th September 2018 at her apartment in Kilimani, Nairobi.
Her lifeless body was discovered in a bathtub with flowing water after her throat had been slit.
According to the police in Langata Police Station, they accounted that the suspect recorded a police statement noting that he had been shot by unknown assailants when he was dropping off the TV girl at Royal Park Estate, on the morning of 21st September.
Jacky on her side, she told the police that she had taken her husband to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
But the suspect’s phone activities were traced to the same house where Monica Kimani was murdered – Luciane Apartments, on Kitale Lane off Denis Pritt Road.

Details police scooped from his phone conversations shows that Jowi arranged and picked Monica from the airport, dropped her to her Kilimani Estate house after jetting in from South Sudan.
Monica Kimani’s neighbor positively identified the suspect after accounting that he had seen a man with a Kanzu leaving her house on the same day she died.
Jowi works in Dubai as a security guard. While Monica Kimani was running a family business in South Sudan. On the fateful day she died, she was supposed to travel to Dubai for a holiday vacation.
Detectives have dismissed Jowi’s story account claiming that there were no gunshots reported in the same area Jowi claims to have been shot from. Police also say that security guards manning the same area did not account for any sounds of gunshots
“We have not established the motive of the shooting. No spent cartridge was recovered at the scene but the probe is ongoing,” said an officer.
Monica Kimani who was leaving alone, was last seen on 19th September with her two friends, at the time of her death, she was living alone.
“I came to check on her since my mother had called and she wasn’t picking. I sent her a message but she never replied yet we were to meet, since,” said a relative who added that they had to break into her house when they sensed danger.
Magistrate’s Daughter- September 17th
The remains of Maribel Kapolon, aged 9 years old were found dumped in Gitoro Forest, Meru County bringing into the end of 11 days search of the kidnapped girl.
The girl whose case looks like a murder case, was a daughter to Senior Resident Magistrate of Githongo Law Courts Ms Caroline Kemei.
Witnesses document that while Maribel was walking home on September 6th after being dropped by their school bus, she was called by someone who knew her by name, took her into the car before vanishing. During them tshe ws in company of other three pupils from Consolata Primary.
“A day before her kidnap, someone claimed to be her uncle. Another man then called her the following day and she ran towards him and we assume she knew him,” said a police officer.
Her body would later be found on 15th September, decomposing in her school uniform with one shoe on her leg.
We suspect a domestic issue that led to this. We are interrogating one suspect,” DCI boss George Kinoti said.
Police have already arrested one suspect in connection with the murder.
Wamaitha Kaboga-Miller- 23rd September
The family of Wamaitha Kaboga-Miller were dealt with horrifying shock after they discovered their missing loved dead in her own car.
The body of US based Kenyan Wamaitha Kaboga-Miller was rotting in her vehicles on Sunday 23rd after weeks of searches by family members, police and volunteers.
Her body was howver found in an ironic situation. Police from California Highway Patrol (CHP) discovered her body in a silver 2002 Mercedes-Benz coupe which had rolled off the road before landing in an embankment.
Paramedics who responded to the emergency confirmed her dead. Police also confirmed that Kaboga-Miller , aged 66 years old was from Palo Alto, California.
The cause of her accident was not immediately established however her previous medical record indicated that the Apple Engineer had gone through a back surgery and she was unable to support or walk on her own two feet.
Elvinah Moracha
The Kenyanya village girl supposed to sit for her KCSE few weeks to come was found murdered and dumped in a fish pond. This incident which was reported by a concerned villager was posted on Facebook.
Form four candidate was slain in cold blood in Kenyenya Sub-County, Kisii County and dumped in a fishpond only a month shy off the national examination. Speculation has it that she received a phone call from a person yet to be disclosed late yesternight and disappeared till this afternoon when a herder discovered her body in the pond.
