1. Nil Battey Sannata (2015)

This Indian film portrays the relationship between mother and daughter, when the teenager goes through academic difficulties. It is the perfect blend of life lessons, mathematics and Indian dance. The story’s message is very positive, and reminds us that we all have the right to education, dreams and a better life.

2. The Club of Five (1985)

In this dramatic American comedy, five students with the most different stories from each other, end up being arrested together. In that time, the most unexpected friendships are formed and the most valuable lessons are exposed to the public. Even though some decades have passed since its launch, this classic still remains relevant.

3. The Pursuit of Happiness (2006)

If all you need to do is put a little perspective on your life, this is the movie that can help you. In this real story, based on the life of entrepreneur Chris Gardner, we follow the path of a man who went from being a salesman who lived on the street to becoming the owner of a brokerage firm relying only on his willpower and determination. The American film may be sad, but it leaves us with the hope that everything is worth it.

4. Today I want to go back alone (2014)

This Brazilian production tells the story of a blind student who falls in love with his classmate. It is a sweet story, full of friendship and that touches on important points of students’ daily lives. The film was nominated for an Oscar, and sends a simple message, but that any student needs to hear from time to time: calm down, everything will be fine.
