The most famous and used messaging applications in the world, WhatsApp is about to disappear for some phones as of January 1, 2019

These phone users will be deprived of this tool considered by many as indispensable.

In fact on the website of WhatsApp it was mentioned that users of certain phones and operating systems of years ago will have several problems that could limit or even disable the use of the famous application.

For this reason, they mentioned which phones WhatsApp will stop working on as of January 1, 2019.

Nokia with S40 OS

In the list published by the instant messaging service on the web, those who, for example, own a Nokia with the S40 operating system will be able to use WhatsApp on their device only until December 31 of this year.

Android OS 2.3.7

The company also indicated that Android devices with 2.3.7 operating system or some older version will be able to use WhatsApp until February 1, 2020, an important date for iPhone users with iOS 7 or earlier operating system, since it is the limit.

The famous application also warned that you cannot create accounts or verify existing ones on those platforms, which could also “stop working at any time” some of the functions of WhatsApp.

IPhones with IOs 7 and Windows Phone 8.1

On the other hand, users who own Android devices with operating system 4.0. iPhone with iOS 8 or Windows Phone with operating system 8.1 (or more modern versions of these systems) can stop worrying and be confident that WhatsApp at the moment will continue to work 100%.
