Here are some tips to reduce it step by step.

Identify the source of the problem

We must identify what is causing us stress. It can be –in effect-, work, a separation, the loss of someone loved, among other things.

We can find different ways to combat it, consulting a professional or changing that aspect of our life completely.

Exercise

Doing at least 30 minutes of exercise daily can help us improve our lives. Always at the most appropriate pace for each person because the physical capacities are different.

Living with other people

Taking care of a pet or living with other people helps to reduce the stress load: taking care of an animal allows us to feel accompanied. A high percentage of people with the aforementioned health problem live alone and tend to take refuge in a vice.

Improve diet

It helps reduce conditions that add to or generate stress such as migraine, colitis and gastritis. Furthermore, by improving food intake, health will benefit, helping to change mood.

Especially for overweight people it is important to reduce fats, sugars and highly industrialized products.

Professional Help

A professional counsellor can seek help to improve the quality of life of people.

When stress reached high and very long levels, the solution may require longer treatment, in different routes, from psychological care to drug treatment.
