Memorizing is not the best way to study, but there are certain data that we can only remember by heart

Contents
1 – Read key points2 – Tell someone what you learned or grab3 – Repeat it Aloud4 – Concentrate5 – Play to memory

And if this is not your strong point, it is best that you know some strategies to keep some data and information in your mind.

If you are about to face an exam or you just need to remember some very precise data, we leave you some useful tricks to memorize in an easier way .

1 – Read key points

Once you have finished reading a material, you leave a class, a conference or the moment after having exposed to any type of information you want to remember, think about three fundamental issues of the instance. It is important that you do it when the information is still fresh.

This can help you focus on the most relevant, or what most interested you. If you leave it to chance. the mind will remember what it wants, whereas if you select the main thing, you will be directing to your brain. After defining the most substantial of what you want to remember, write it down . This will be a plus for your memory to remember.

2 – Tell someone what you learned or grab

Wanting to explain to another (or to yourself) what you learned not only helps you to remember it better, but it shows you what things were not clear and which ones were completely erased. Telling someone else is applying the old method of asking someone to take your lesson.

As for recording telling you what you have to learn, the advantage is that afterwards you can listen to it until you get tired, whether you are walking or when you go to sleep. And as with everything we hear a thousand times, we end up staying from memory.

3 – Repeat it Aloud

When we study, we usually do it in silence, since it is not only a way to read faster but it is more

practical for concentration.

Anyway, and although silent reading is the most effective, saying things (or reading lessons) out loud can also be a plus that facilitates memorization; since, like when we write, we are facilitating recall through visual memory, when we say it out loud we do it with auditory memory .

4 – Concentrate

Of course it is not just about writing, recording or repeating aloud what you want to learn: for ideas to really be fixed it is important that you are focused when you do any of these things.

Take it seriously and eliminate all the distractions around you. Also, it is important that you rest enough, eat well and stay hydrated. These questions will help you to have your mind rested, something fundamental to fix, even without realizing, what you learned.

5 – Play to memory

If you are over twenty years old and you play the memory with someone of seven or eight, surely he wins. And is that our brain is deteriorating due to multiple factors and the brain of children continues to expand and discover new ways of learning. It is fundamental to force our mind to activate itself with different exercises.

There are many useful games to challenge your brain and keep it active  and one of them is memory. You can play it in its classic table version or in online versions.
