If you’re going down that path, find out some tips that will help you organize and achieve two goals at a time.

1. Be realistic

Always bearing in mind that you cannot be excellent at everything and accepting that there will be issues that you will have to set aside in order to be able to comply with others is important to not feel frustrated.

Most likely, at some point in the courses you should prioritize one over the other. For example, if you are in an exam period, you will have to “take a break” from the other person, but that does not mean that you are completely abandoned.

2. Stay motivated

If you want to take two courses at the same time, no matter how demanding the results, it is because you must have a good reason to do so. Do not lose sight of this goal because motivation is essential to face each day.

3. Forget intense social life

And not only from “intense” social life, but practically from all social life. Of course, he won’t become a total hermit, but he can’t be at all outings with his friends, nor will he have most weekends free.

4. Discover the possibility of revalidating materials

If the courses you plan to take or are studying are similar or belong to the same branch of knowledge, you can revalidate some subjects from one to the other.

5. Try not to start both courses at the same time

If you have no experience at the university, it is better to start little by little, that is, one course at a time. Then, when you have already taken the pace, it will be the best time to start another course, because you will already know the times and the effort that each one requires.

6. You must have excellent planning

As already mentioned, you will have to be tolerant of frustration, as being in two courses at the same time per day is a very difficult project, so to complete all tasks in each of the courses you will have to have an excellent planning.

This implies knowing the programs of each discipline, updating your readings, paying close attention in class and having a very well organized agenda so that nothing surprises you. By taking two courses at the same time, you won’t have much time when unforeseen events arise, but having a well-planned calendar will avoid all sorts of constraints.
