7 Mistakes Your Can Make During Job Interview

According to research carried out in 17 countries, 4 out of 5 candidates cannot get through the job interview.

The data is quite dramatic and the conclusion is that we do not prepare them conscientiously and in advance, which makes us fall into unforgivable errors, at least when it comes to getting a job.

We all make mistakes, but we have to avoid them when we play so much in front of people who do not know our professional values.

When asked ‘what defects would you highlight?’ There is no correct answer, but we can avoid the typical phrases such as “I am too perfectionist”, because there is no one to believe it.

Therefore,  if they ask us about our shortcomings we must be sincere but original, turning mistakes into learning, and above all, not leaving anything to improvisation, because in these cases it does not work.

These are seven mistakes you can disclose or admit during a job

  1. “I was a bit disorganized, but now through a tool, my planning capacity has improved.” Explain what technique you have used and how it has helped you to plan the work.
  2. “I used to work on only one project at a time, but I have learned to handle multiple tasks”. It does not matter if you admit that at the beginning it was difficult for you to do more than one task at a time, but this has changed because you are working hard.
  3. “Before I invested too much time in making decisions, now I have gained confidence and I do not doubt my abilities”. As you have more experience, you are at the same time more efficient, and that is always great.
  4. “The new projects have always enthused me and without realizing it I overloaded. Now I have learned to recognize my limits.” It is super important to recognize our limitations, because it will help us to flee from projects that we cannot take on
  5. “Although I always delivered my reports by the deadline, I have started to move forward with my work to avoid last-minute rush.” This phrase will show that you are the boss in terms of organization. Also, you make it clear that the last minute changes do not prevent you from meeting deadlines.
  6. “It was hard for me to speak in public. But I’ve signed up for a course that prepares me for this type of situation.” If you have a problem, you have a solution. There is nothing more to say.
  7. “Before, it was difficult for me to delegate some tasks to others.” However, the experience has shown me that teamwork enriches the result. “Knowing how to ask for help and dividing tasks is a quality that only the best have. You are a friend
