Ideally, that same effort that they are applying to have an unforgettable party, they have it every day of their lives as a couple.

Here are eight things happy couples do.

1. Care is provided

Giving the other your full attention may seem like an easy task, but in an age where technology is so present at all times, it is very possible to get distracted while having a conversation, so it is important that when they are talking, they listen to each other and try to not getting distracted, that’s showing how important you are to each other.

2. They disconnect

The 24 hours a day are spent between work, children – if they have -, eating and sleeping. So whatever little time you have left, use it to be together. Stop browsing the internet. Disconnect from the television, computer or cell phone and connect with the other.

3. They say nice words

Expressing love through words is important. The boyfriend phrases are not only for the beginning of the relationship, but must be written on each page of that story that they draw together. Say “I love you” before leaving home, when hanging up a call, in a text message during the day, and before going to sleep.

6. Affection is shown

Walk hand in hand, hug each other while waiting in line, kiss each other on the cheek, cook for your partner, give each other flowers, ask each other: How was your day? At this point, the well-known phrase would apply: “Be a reflection of what you would like to receive.”

5. Create rituals

Just as putting on wedding rings before leaving home will become a tradition, they can create new rituals, for example: making each other’s coffee in the morning, sharing a board game on Sundays, having breakfast in bed on weekends weekdays, going to the gym together or reading before going to sleep. Little tokens of love that will fuel the relationship.

4. They get out of the routine

Every now and then take those suits and evening dresses out of the closet and party. Go on a date as if the relationship has just begun, have a good glass of wine, be romantic, and have fun!

7. Share

Teamwork doesn’t just apply to the office or college. Work together; be it preparing dinner, doing laundry, planning a trip or playing a sport. For example, if you find a new hobby that you can do as a couple, that will help you strengthen your bond.

8. They communicate

Communication must be a fundamental pillar in that home that they are building. After an argument, be empathetic with each other, put yourself in their shoes, that will get you out of a defensive position and you can solve the problem without creating a storm in a glass of water.
