Kenya Scouts Association are looking to hire competitive Shop Attendants to work in various Scouts Shops in the country.
The goal of the position is to provide high class customer service and to grow the shops’ revenue through sales maximization.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service Maintain outstanding shop condition and visual merchandising standards
Ascertain customers’ needs and wants and recommend items that match the needs Manage point-of-sale processes
Be actively involved in the receiving of new merchandise and proper arrangement in the shop.
Conducting regular stock re-order level checks and periodic stock checks.
Keep up to date with product information
Requirement for the Position
Certificate or diploma in any business related course
At least 2 years of proven working experience in a busy retail outlet
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency in ERP
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service focus
Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
The ability to work well as an individual and as part of a team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail.
Must provide a certificate of good conduct
