Although it is not easy to enter the job market, you should not apply for any job that appears. It may seem insanity to miss out on a job opportunity these days, but you should know that if you apply for the job most suited to your profile you have a better chance of being successful. If you are looking for reasons to decline an opportunity, find out 6 simple reasons for not applying for any job vacancy:

Contents
 1. You have a bad impression2. Are you desperate?3. You are not qualified enough4. Care about getting to know the company better5. You are overqualified6. Do not share the same company values

 1. You have a bad impression

Remember that there is no perfect job. As attractive as the vacancy may seem to you, there will always be something you will not like. If everything seems too perfect, suspect. Perhaps the company is not being clear enough about your tasks, your salary or the benefits.

2. Are you desperate?

Applying for any job just out of fear of being out of a job is a mistake. Perhaps the solution will be valid for some time, but one day the salary will stop being enough and you will feel frustrated with the tasks that you do not like to perform.

3. You are not qualified enough

What is the point of applying for a job for which you know from the start that you are not qualified? You can even decorate your resume, but on the day of the interview you will have to tell the truth, which can make a bad impression on the recruiter. Pay special attention to the vacancies for which you know you are qualified.

4. Care about getting to know the company better

Before applying for a job vacancy you should try to know more about the company. This type of research can help you decide whether or not you will like to work in that organization. If your research reveals mixed signs, and makes you suspicious, or even if you don’t get any extra information about the company, you may be better off opting for other opportunities.

5. You are overqualified

Just as you should not apply for a job for which you are not qualified, it also makes no sense to try an opportunity below your knowledge. In this type of work, your skills will surpass the requested tasks and you will quickly feel frustrated with the work.

6. Do not share the same company values

In order to feel satisfied with the job it is essential that you share the same company values. It may seem possible to you to work in an environment that goes against your beliefs, but when you have to go over your own principles, work tends to get uncomfortable.
