She instructed Ruth to go in the night and sleep at the feet of Boaz and Boaz upon waking up was shocked to see her and she related with him in a humble way and he said,”You are a good woman and has not been moving around with many young boys in town” and from there the process began that led to Marriage. So from this story we learn that a lady can propose a man by sitting at his feet which is symbolically the art of been teachable.
Mary the sister to Martha in the scriptures sat at the feet of Jesus Christ learning from him. So you propose to a man as a lady by been teachable, because an attitude of a learner makes a teacher available somebody once said, “If you are ready to learn then your teacher shall appear”.
