Tottenham Hotspur midfielder and Kenyan captain Victor Wanyama will pay all the salaries for AFC Leopards’ head coach.

However, this will not be for Ivan Minnaert, according to Wanyama’s father Noah Wanyama, who issued the same statement during his campaign for Organizing Secretary post while at Nairobi’s Lucky Summer estate.

The IMC official asserted that he (if elected to the office in the upcoming polls) will hire a foreign coach (not Minnaert) for AFC Leopards whose salaries will be paid by the son, who recently penned a five-year deal with the Spurs from Southampton.

His contract is worth over £13.5 million equivalent to over Sh1 billion. “Salaries for the coach to be hired if I am elected will be paid by my son Victor Wanyama, who just signed for Tottenham Hotspur,” he told Goal.

The current Belgian coach (Ivan Minnaert) is reportedly earning Sh400, 000 per month which translates to Sh4.8million per year minus allowances.
