Are you a 3rd or 4th year degree student looking to gain hands-on experience in your field of study? Or perhaps you’re a 2nd year diploma student eager to apply your classroom knowledge in a real-world setting? Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) is offering industrial attachment opportunities for the April intake, providing a platform for students to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

The industrial attachment program at KBC spans a maximum non-renewable period of three months, starting from April 2nd, 2024, to June 30th, 2024. This period allows students to immerse themselves in various departments within the corporation, gaining valuable insights and practical skills essential for their future careers.

KBC industrial attachment requirements

Securing a spot in the industrial attachment program is competitive yet achievable, with several criteria determining selection:

  1. Field of Specialization: Applicants’ courses must align with KBC’s operational areas, ensuring relevance and meaningful contributions during the attachment period.
  2. Capacity and Facilities: The corporation evaluates its ability to accommodate trainees based on available resources and attachment slots, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  3. Application Process: Interested students can apply through MyJobMag or directly on the CampusBiz platform, following the outlined procedures for submission.
  4. Priority Basis: Selection operates on a first-come, first-served basis, emphasizing the importance of timely application.
  5. Academic Year: Degree students in their 3rd or 4th year and diploma students in their 2nd year are eligible for the program.

To apply for the industrial attachment at KBC, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a 3rd or 4th-year degree student from a recognized university or a 2nd-year diploma student from a recognized college.
  • Complete the online application form available on the designated platforms.
  • Provide a recommendation letter from their university or college, highlighting their academic performance and suitability for the program.
  • Submit a copy of their national identification card or passport for verification purposes.
  • Fill out the KBC Commitment Form and acquire personal insurance cover for the duration of the attachment.

Finally, by fulfilling these requirements and demonstrating a passion for learning and growth, aspiring participants can maximize their chances of securing an industrial attachment at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation. This experience not only enhances their academic journey but also prepares them for a successful transition into the professional world. Apply today and embark on a transformative learning experience with KBC!
