Former Gengetone star turned pastor, Miracle Baby, has publicly sought forgiveness from God and his fans for backsliding in his faith. The musician, who gained fame for his hit song Wamlambez, recently made headlines after a video surfaced online showing him performing the track with his ex-lover, Carol Katrue. The video sparked mixed reactions from netizens, with many questioning his commitment to his faith.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Miracle Baby took the opportunity to reflect on his past mistakes and seek forgiveness. He admitted that he had strayed from the path that God had set for him, acknowledging that his actions, including his pride and failure to reach out to the people who needed him most, had embarrassed the work God had done in his life.
Miracle Baby shared a video collage, which included emotional moments of him in a wheelchair, in the hospital, and standing on the pulpit. He expressed his regret, saying, “I know I have embarrassed the work You did for me when I had no hope of living in this world anymore. I know I forgot where You had told me to go… I was filled with pride and thought I knew everything. Please forgive me for that, God.”
The artist ended his message with a powerful prayer, saying, “I’ve sinned. Without your grace, I always fall short. You are faithful to forgive me and cleanse me. I want to walk in righteousness and holiness, but I need your help.”
Miracle Baby had been anointed as a pastor in June 2022, when he vowed to serve God without backsliding. However, his recent actions have led him to publicly renew his faith and commitment to the Almighty.
The musician’s apology received overwhelming support from his fans, many of whom expressed their faith in God’s forgiveness. Comments flooded in, with followers reminding him that God is always ready to offer second chances and that his grace is sufficient.
In related news, Carol Katrue, Miracle Baby’s ex-lover, had earlier called out President William Ruto for not following through on promises of assistance to her and Miracle Baby. Despite receiving KSh 300,000 from the president, Carol claimed that no one from his team had returned her calls, even as she sought help for the daily nurse who assisted Miracle Baby during his recovery.
As Miracle Baby moves forward, his apology and renewed commitment to God mark a new chapter in his journey, one that many hope will lead him to greater spiritual growth and fulfillment.
