It is now emerging that Mary Wairimu – wife to slain businessman Jacob Juma – could be kicked out of her lavish home in Karen.
Apparently, more than five lawsuits have been filed at the High Court by people claiming ownership to the parcel of land where their family house sits.
The plantiffs include, Auriel Marie, Joy Kimemia, Mary Wanjiru Chege, William Silala Sano, Suakei ole Parkire, Latoo Enepriakanga Nchepai and Kenya United Sports Limited (KUSL).
KUSL, who have filed the latest suit, claim the late businessman fraudulently obtained ownership documents to the 5.5-acre piece of land.
They want the court to order the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Ndegwa Muhoro, and Mr Tobiko to arrest and charge Auriel Marie whom they have acccused of forging a letter of allotment that portrays her as the legal owner of the land.
What is rather surprising is that the very same lady who is now being sued for forging documents had taken Jacob Juma and four others to court in 2008 for trying to disposses her of the same parcel.
Reports indicate that the disputed land has been the subject of investigations by the DCI’s Land Fraud Investigation Unit (LFIU) since 2014
If the court upholds that indeed Jacob Juma forged land documents, his wife and children could be forced to spend many nights in the cold.
