Lincoln Advisors are looking for a cooperate finance intern to work with them for a 6 month probational with a chance of being offered a financial junior analyst employment upon end of intern contract.

Position Overview
- The primary responsibilities of the intern position within LAK will be to help develop essential transaction material as well as to provide transaction support and research & analysis services for the team.
- You will be working directly with the Executive Management team and a number of different Advisors in a fast paced environment. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of public/private equity/debt transactions for our clients.
Responsibilities for the Corporate Finance Intern Job
Research and Analysis
- Analysing financial statements for purposes of valuation using various methodologies including DCF and Multiples;
- Research on macro-economic trends and industry trends in different sectors.
Transaction Support
- Participating at all levels of assigned transactions from proposal stage to closing stage by coordinating efforts of LAK’s team;
- Regular follow up on deliverables as per agreed mandates and project work plans with the client;
- Evaluating and monitoring pipeline and on-going projects and updating the team on progress or lack thereof;
- Assisting in placement efforts: setting up investor road-shows, identifying likely investors for on-going mandates and circulating the relevant offer documents to targeted investors;
- Maintaining an up to date database of all LAK’s clients (previous, existing and potential), pool of investors (local fund managers, PE funds, HNWIs, foreign investors (institutional and individual);
- Preparing for meetings by ensuring that all required documentation or equipment is ready in advance, taking minutes and action points etc.
Develop Transaction Information
- Teasers;
- Proposals;
- Information Memorandums;
- Financial Models;
- Contracts (NDA’s, EOI’s, Mandate Letters, MOU’s).
Administrative Work
- Arranging meetings;
- Making travel arrangements.
Corporate Finance Intern Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a similar major with a minimum of GPA of 3 out of 4.0 or second class honours;
- Previous relevant working experience or professional qualifications in a relevant field (CPA, CFA, ACCA etc.) will be an added advantage.
Other Relevant Skills / Abilities
- Demonstrate a strong financial and analytical skill-set with prior experience of analysing financial statements and company valuation;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Hardworking and highly motivated with an ability to work under minimum supervision;
- Reliable and detail oriented;
- Be proactive and take part of the further development of LAK;
- Have a critical mind and not necessarily agree with the current view of the market.
