Lovebirds Arrested After Betting On Their New Born

Kenyan love birds were arrested and arraigned in court after they were accused of leaving their new born unattended to go and gamble in a nearby casino.

The child aged at 2 years was left alone in the casino parking bay as they couple went about gambling about an hour in the Lake Charles Casino.

Maureen Cheto aged 23 and Armstrong Otieno were released on a bond of about Ksh.700,000 at Calcasieu Correctional Center after being charged with child desertion .

The baby was rescued fro the car when the deputies unlocked the car.

The couple admitted leaving the boy in the car while sleeping while they went ahead to sleep.
