The so many romours that have now again gathered momentum of Mike Sonko stepping down for Peter Kenneth in Nairobi can not go ignored, bearing in mind that the previous romours were actualy not far away from the truth.
Sonko came out clear that before, some forces were being put on his shoulder to resign in favor of PK on Jubilee’s ticket.
And today, it is out there that he has stepped down for his fellow in exchange of a cabinet post.
Mixed reactions however point out that he might have refused to step down.
Sonko is a favorite of many Nairobians, bearing in mind that he was the third best candidate in the previous elections in terms of voter popularity.
He had previously vowed not to step down for anyone, citing a possibility of a break out. On today’s claims, he has not spoken out yet.
