Newly elected Kiambu Women Rep Gathoni Wa Muchomba has taken back her words, admitted and regretted the statements she made on a on a national TV yesterday.

Speaking to NTV live debate, she stated that she needed Salaries and Remuneration Commission , SRC headed by Sarah Serem to pay her well and that the SRC should take caution while they are slashing the MPs salaries.

Today speaking to Citizen TV, looking very apologetic, Muchomba is ready to accept the cake from SRC.

Kiambu residents had began collecting more than 500,000 signatures to stop her swearing, they felt disappointed from the the newly elect leader.
