Seven students died in Moi Girls dormitory fire, while dozens were injured whe n the fire razed down the Nairobi school.
Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i said school was closed as was probe underway stating that those found culpable to be prosecuted.
However the form four students would go on with their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations as from Friday.
“There was thick smoke that made me faint. But I quickly came to my senses and realised my jumper had caught fire. I put it out and managed to escape,” a form four student witnessed recalling that the fire broke out about 1.30 am.
