Kenya Film and Classification Board CEO Erick Mutua has said that the government will not allow the Kenyan traditional culture be eroded by the presence of high-tech sex dolls.
As a result, has made illegal the importation, promotion and sell of the sell dolls dubbed ‘Samantha’

The sex dolls are said to be ready in the market and are going for not less than Ksh.870,000. Even though no single case has been reported in Kenya.
There has been another announcement that the male sex dolls are said to be ready by the onset of 2019.
Currently Kenya does not allow the same sex marriage, under the 2010 Constitution Kenyans have a right to marry only from one opposite sex.
