Kyle McCarter , Illinois Senator would be picked by US President Donald Trump to replace Robert Godec as US ambassador to Kenya.
McCarter is not a new face to Kenyans as it is known that he has established charity centers in Kenya.
McCarter thanked the US president after learning the news.
McCarter and his parents together established Each One Feed One foundation which takes care of orphaned kids whose parents had succumbed to HIV/AIDS. The organization also supports abandoned kids and HIV victims.
His first time in Kenya was in 1987, where he even lived here for more than a year.

- With a degree in accounting, he graduated from the Oral Roberts University in 1984
