A 29 year old mother of one who was believed to have been kidnapped was arrested in Police in Soweto, Johannesburg by police after she was found relaxing in her boyfriend’s house.
The woman identified as Ms Lerato Mosia was reported missing on 9th June. The case was escalated when her family reported that she was missing.
According to the local media from South Africa, police boss Hector Netshihodza said that she would be charged with defeating the ends of justice. The man will also be charged on grounds of kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice.
The matter became a serious concern on 16th June when the alleged abductors started threatening the family with text messages accompanied by semi-nude picture of the woman tied and gagged.
The ‘abductors’ however did not ask for a ransom.
