A body of a young woman was retrieved on the morning of 23rd July after it was discovered by a morning resident headed to work.
The Kitale town resident noted that at first he noted the body of a 25 year old lady which dangling or flying over the flyover at Kitale–Webuye–Eldoret junction.
Report from Trans Nzoia police boss Jackson Mwenga indicate that it is suspected to be a self inflicted suicide since the body of the dead was found with no injuries after hanging herself with sisal rope.
“The woman was brown in complexion with a lean body frame. She had no visible injuries. We believe it was a suicide but investigation has commenced at the moment,” he said
The remains of her body was moved to Kitale County Referral Hospital mortuary.
