Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed has announced more educational changes weeks after directing all public, private primary and secondary schools to stick to 8am-3.30pm class hours
CS Amina stated that Primary Schools will be entitled to a five day mi-term holiday, same as that enjoyed with secondary schools across Kenya.
“When we announced the secondary school break, your officials came to us so we shall extend it to primary schools,” she told primary school heads attending a conference in Mombasa on Tuesday.
The CS also reminded teachers that anyone who will be caught working on those days will be punished.
