A 10 year old class three boy hanged himself with a rope on Sunday of 16th of September 2018 leaving his parents and rest of villagers shocked.
The boy from Murang’a county is said to have been sent to collect a rope from another home, he took long prompting a search that found him dangling on a rope tied on a tree’s branch.
“His uncle was going to the plot and he saw the child dangling from a tree, after seeing him he tried to call his name but there was no response and when there was no response he ran back and called his father and together they rushed and removed him from the tree,” his mother Beth Wanjiru said.
The matter which was reported to the chief was handed over to the police who later collected his body.
