Mombasa county governor and Presdient Uhuru Kenyatta have found their lost bromance while in Paris, France during the ongoing Annual Peace Forum which commemorates the end of World War 1.
Joho was showing off his ‘Kumekucha’ initiative meant to speed up alerts and prevent violent extremism in Momabasa.
“Today, Mombasa showcased her efforts at preventing and countering violent extremism at the Annual Peace Forum in Paris. I thank H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta for acknowledging and endorsing our effort,” posted Governor Joho.
Joho also acknowledged how Kenya was part of World War 1
“This event is held in Paris France as part of the Paris Peace Forum. It commemorates the end of the first world war in which Kenya, then part of the East African British Protectorate, was an active participant,” he added.
In 2017, Joho and Uhuru relationship was very wide with the two leaders choosing to remain rival political enemies.
At one point Joho was barred from attending a President function in Mombasa after he had used ‘viral’ statements against President Uhuru.
