Newer revelations have emerged indicating that Jared Ombogi Nevaton had been married to three wives besides marry TV Siren Lilian Muli
Documents seen from American courts have shown that Jared sought to marry three American women in bid to win a US citizenship.
The documents also added that when Ombogi failed to win the US visa he sought asylum due to political unrest in Kenya.
At that time he wanted to marry second wife Layle Marie Kobow, while still married to his first wife Heather Mae Rice in 1994. Rice later reported her to
Immigration and Naturalization services
“In 1993, Ombongi married Heather Mae Rice. In 1994, while still married to Rice, Ombongi married Layle Marie Kobow. Kobow filed a visa petition on behalf of Ombongi,” noted the report
“However, when she learned that Ombongi was still married to Rice, Kobow reported Ombongi to the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (INS)…that the marriage had been arranged by a friend with the understanding that Ombongi would help her financially,” the court document shows.
Ombogi however defended himself claiming that he was not aware that he was still married to the first wife at the time he was marrying third wife.
Ombogi through the help of third wife Miss Kobow filed an asylum visa application to stay in USA.
In December 2018, Citizen TV top anchor Lilian Muli announced on social media that he had separated with Jared despite siring a baby together.
Lilian who had barely went two year into marriage with Jared, vowed to lead a single motherhood life after divorcing Moses Kanene before settling with Jared.
With Moses, the couple had one kid.
