South Africa’s AKA Downs Papa Jones To Win Africa’s Coveted Award

After scooping the Best Rap Act of the Year award in the African Muzik Magazine Awards 2018 (Afrimma), South Africa’s top rapper AKA floored Kenyan rapper Papa Jones aka Khaligraphy Jones to win the MVP Best Hip Hop award.

Papa Jones was quick to accept defeat and offer his congratulation message to AKA.

“Congratulations to the big Hommie AKA for winning the MVP Best Hip Hop award, we Live to Win another day fam, to all those who voted for me thank you so much, let’s keep the Ball rolling, Taking KE Hip Hop to heights that have never been witnessed before,” he wrote.

The celebrated Kenyan rapper however has placed Kenyan hip-hop not only on Africa’s map but the whole continent.
