Citizen TV senior reporter Francis Gachuri had a unique interview with one of the victims following the Riverside Terror Attack that happened in Nairobi’s Westlands.
Gachuri was interviewing one of the victims Henry Githaiga as he sought to know what happened before and after the attack.
Gachuri among other questions posted for Githaiga to respond to, wanted to know where other victims were hiding and how they could be saved.
In response, Githaiga warned him that he will share little information so as not to tip the terror group thinking that he was helping the police.
However, Gachuri was still pressing him with even more intelligence processes that was reserved for police.
The reporter then asked him how the police were searching and singling people to ensure that they don’t let suspects lose as disguised as one of the victims, again Githaiga was smart and denied to offer the info.
Githaiga summed up by advising Gachuri to avoid discussing the merits of the security agents.
Henry Githaiga is a former reporter and colleague with Gachuri. Previously they worked together at Citizen TV.
During the time of attack, Githaiga was at his office near the attack scene.
