Kenyan music fraternity was thrown into mourning on 27th February evening after they lost legendary rapper Chris Kantai.
His family is yet to disclose the cause of his death, but according to the local reports, the rapper has been fighting alcoholism and drug abuse.
Facts about Kantai
- In his hay days, he is credited for bringing rapper STL aka Stella Kimani into light with his viral rap song ‘Happy’.
- He was a popular trend back in 2018 in Zimmerman after he was spotted in a drinking den, located in the same area boozing ‘cheap’ brand KEG
- While in 2017, his attempt to find his singing voice came to light when he did a collabo with Khaligraphy Jones
- His tribulations continued to worsen, as Kenyans and his fans wondered how and why he had sunk rock bottom with drug menace.
