Group of those that don’t believe God [Atheist in Kenya Soceity] urged those Kenyans that are willing to take up the secretariat position to send requests after the one who had been on that position Seth Mahiga surrendered after he accepted Jesus.
The leader of the group Harrison Mumia said that Mr Mahiga surrendered on Saturday after he had got Jesus.
’’Today evening we have been disappointed with the decision of our leader Seth Mahiga to surrender. He said that the reason to do that is that he got Jesus and he don’t want to continue with work of those that don’t believe God in the country ’’said Mr Mumia.
The leader of AKS wished Mr Mahiga good luck on his new faith of worshipping God.
That announcement brought many thoughts on Facebook where by many levelled him like the lost son in the bible who has come back home.
Some Kenyans also wanted Mr Mumia to follow the example of Mr Mahiga and surrender his life to Jesus Christ.
Some of the Kenyans shared their minds on the same was the retired Chief Justice judge Willy Mutunga who said that the decision of Mr Mahiga is acceptable according to the law.
“Law No.32 [1] says that each and every Kenyan has right to worship. So Mahiga has not done any mistake to make his decision’’ said Dr. Mutunga.
“[Paul] who met Jesus on his way to Damascus and made him the preacher, I’m also praying for you to meet Jesus in your life’’Solomon Ambuku told Mr. Mahiga.
“Welcome to Gods family Seth. Jesus said that those who don’t believe in him will be punished but will not leave them and lastly they will get the everlasting life’’said Karen Wangari.
