Paul Ongili aka Babu Owino will now not worry anymore after Court of Appeal nullified his opponent’s case challenging his victory in Embakasi East.
Three judge bench made of Justices Mohammed Warsame, Daniel Musinga and Kathurima M’Inoti turned the ruling of the High Court stating that the nullification of the results on account of recount and scrutiny was not founded in law.
The judges also noted that the irregularities experienced during the election period did not affect the final outcome of the result.
Similarly the High Court did not demonstrate how the violence affect the result of the count.
His challenger from Jubilee Party Francis Mureithi will be served by a big blow.
