Edinah Kwamboka who had initially said she was Faith Kemunto has given a heart-breaking story on how they planned and executed the stealing of baby Prince Ouko from Kenyatta National Hospital.
Edinah and her fellow suspect named only as Jennifer planned to sell the stolen baby for only Ksh.7000.
The plan to swindle the baby from KNH facility was easily executed by the help of inside workers. It happened so fast than it was planned.
As the father to the victim and mother went for medical attention leaving behind the twin babies, they left behind a big room for Edinah and her cartels.
Edinah tricked a cousin to the baby’s father who gave her the baby, she then went into a hideout in Kawangware area in Nairobi where they were expecting to move on with their plan.
When the father Mr.Ouko knew about this, he decided to hide it from the mother who he feared would go into a trauma.
Edinah was under the auspices of Jennifer who was captured on the CCTV camera at KNH. She escaped successfully with the baby and went into Jenifer’s house in Kwangware.
Edina who is a green grocer from Keroka in Kisii county realized she had made a mistake despite the fact that their plan was a success, she even thought of returning the baby back to KNH
She confirmed the earlier romours that she had a positive miscarriage over the past days.
Before they could plan their next move, police had closed them in their own net and arrested Edinah at her own house in Kawangware.
CID officer Phylis Kanina and other police officers from Kilimani Police Station arrested the woman and saved her from a mob justice
