There is an evident need for bloggers to learn about blogging. A good number of Kenyans are increasingly taking up blogging and while many are interested in pursuing it, few have the skills needed to enable them excel in it.
That is where we come in; to improve your writing and blogging skills, help you understand your readership, and since social media is now part of our everyday social interaction, to teach you the ethics to apply while using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. We also endeavor to answer every question you might have on Blogging and Social Media.
We will cover the following topics during the training:
• Becoming a better blogger
• Basics of Blogging and Social media
• Writing skills and readership
• Personal online branding
• Social media ethics
• Understanding copyright
The training will be held on Saturday, 8th August at the Nailab, which is on the 4th floor of Bishop Magua Centre, Ngong road. It starts from 9am to 4pm.
If you have a laptop, carry it along to get the full training experience and to take advantage of the free WiFi.
