Just after lifting Brazil over Brazil to a 2-0 win at Venezuela in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier, Willian will miss a classic game this weekend after losing his mum.

The 57 year old mum lost the battle to Cancer in a Lebanese health facility.

The 28 yers William’s mum had undergone 5 operations prior to her death. Willian who has been given time to attend to her mother’s funeral took to social media to moan her with his fans.

“All of us at Chelsea Football Club are sending our love and deepest condolences to Willian and his family after the passing of his mother. We are thinking of you Willian,” the Premier League club said in a statement. willian-and-mum
