City Star Calls It A Day After A Short Battle With Cancer

The Former midfielder of Bristol and Manchester city died aged at 64 years shortly after being diagnised with cancer a year ago.

He leaves behind wife Joolz, son Chris, daughters Rachael and Jennifer, nine grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Son Chris said: “He fought cancer all the way, just like he did on the pitch, he never gave up on anything. “He was a tough-tackling Scot, which everybody in the terraces loved. He was a real 110 percenter, in everything he did.”
“We have never lived more than a mile away from each other as we are such a close knit family,” he concluded.
