The Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has directed the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to launch a probe into the death of gospel singer Betty Bayo. The order follows concerns raised by her mother, Joyce Wairimu, who has questioned the circumstances surrounding her daughter’s passing.
Bayo, a rising gospel artist, reportedly died on November 10, 2025, from excessive bleeding.
