Veteran media personality Eric Latiff has joined Nation Media Group (NMG) after departing from Spice FM, marking a new chapter in his illustrious 27-year career in the media industry. His transition to NMG was met with excitement, as the media house expressed its enthusiasm for Latiff’s contribution to its evolving strategy.

Latiff’s career has been built on his ability to deliver compelling interviews and produce thought-provoking content. As NMG’s Head of Broadcasting, Simaloi Dajom, stated, “Having Latiff on board aligns perfectly with our strategy to continuously innovate and elevate our broadcast offerings. His experience will bring much-needed impact in the fast-changing media landscape.” His diverse expertise across TV, radio, and digital platforms makes him a valuable asset to the media house.

During his five years at Spice FM, Latiff played an instrumental role in launching The Situation Room, a radio talk show that became central to Kenya’s major public conversations. His in-depth interviews with prominent figures earned him a reputation for his tough yet fair approach.

The announcement of Latiff’s appointment was met with congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues alike. Notably, many expressed their excitement over his move, with some reminiscing about his previous stints at Capital FM and praising his role in making radio content both educational and engaging.

One of his memorable moments was speaking in a Kalenjin accent while discussing issues surrounding the Nairobi Expressway, showcasing his versatility as a presenter.

Latiff’s new role at NMG promises to bring fresh perspectives to the organization, reinforcing its commitment to innovative content and its audience. As he embarks on this exciting new journey, fans and colleagues alike are eager to see the new heights he will help NMG achieve in the dynamic world of media.
