Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa was abandoned by his pilot who sought to save a pregnant woman who was in need of medical attention.
Captain Stephanus Kruger spotted a distress call from the villages, who later hovered to the ground before saving the seven-month pregnant woman from Eborr village in Marsabit county to hospital.
The woman had suffered a double pain of bleeding the whole night from the gunshot she took from rangers who had been chasing hyenas terrorizing the villagers.
The woman is now recovering at a health facility in Moyale.
