1.Aliko Dangote- USD 10.9 Billion (Nigeria)

He is a top Nigerian business mogul who owns Dangote Group that dominates sugar industry and cement.

2.Mike Adenuga- USD 9.2 Billion (Nigeria)

He is a vast investor in Nigeria, owning top mobile network firm Globacom and oil exploration firm Conoil Producing, extensive real estate holdings.

3. Nicky Oppenheimer – USD 7.3 Billion (South Africa)

Top Mineral investor from SA, rose to the table after selling his father’s mining firm in Debeers back in 2012 at USD 5.1 Billion.

4. Nassef Onsi Sawiris – USD 6.3 
Billion (Egypt)

The billionaire was once a CEO of  Orascom Construction but today he serves as the chairman of Aston Villa F.C which plays in England second top division category, Championship.

5.Johann Rupert- USD 5.3 Billion (South Africa)

The shrewd entrepreneur is the head and boss at Swiss-based luxury-goods company Richemont as well as of the South Africa-based company Remgro.

6. Issad Rebrab- USD 3.7 Billion (Algeria)

The billionaire businessman, CEO of the Cevital industrial group, the largest private company in Algeria, active in steel, food, agribusiness and electronics.

7. Naguib Sawiris – Egypt

Sawiris is chairman of Weather Investments’s parent company, and chairman of Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding S.A.E.

8.Koos Becker- USD 2.3 Billion (South Africa)

He owns Naspers, a media group which operates in about 130 countries across the world.

9.Isabel Dos Santos – USD 2.3
Billion (Angola)

The Russian-Angolan businesswoman is Africa’s richest woman and the eldest child of Angola’s former President José Eduardo dos Santos.

10. Mohamed Mansour – USD 2.3 Billion (Egypt)

He is the chairman of Mansour Group that is the second largest company in Egypt by revenue

11.Strive Masiyiwa- USD 2.3
Billion (Zimbabwe)

He owns diversified international Telecommunications, Media and Technology group Econet Wireless and Econet Media

12. Patrice Motsepe -USD 2.3
Billion (South Africa)

He is the owner of African Rainbow Minerals, which has deals in gold, ferrous metals, base metals, and platinum.

13. Aziz Akhannouch – USD 2.1
Billion (Morocco)

The Minister of Agriculture since 2007 also owns Akwa Group which deals with oil.

14. Mohammed Dewji- USD 1.9 Billion  (Tanzania)

He is a vast investor and politician. Son to former Tanzanian billionaire

15. Othman Benjelloun – USD 1.7 Billion (Morocco)

Insurance investor

16. Abdulsamad Rabiu – Nigeria

Specializes in Banking and Agriculture products
