Croatia and Real Madird Midfielder Luka Modric broke the long spell of Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo’s serial win of the best FIFA player award of the season.
Modric who led Croatia to world cup 2018 final and also led Real Madrid to UEFA Champions League final was announced as the overal winer of the precious award ahead of Messi and Christiano Ronaldo.

- FIFA Fan Award: Peru supporters
- FIFA Fair Play Award: Lennart Thy (VVV Venlo, missed a match last year to donate stem cells to help a Leukaemia patient)
