A total of 23 MCAs met a 2/3 majority to remove Kirinyaga Governor Mumbi Waiguru from power.
The motion passed on 9th June 2020 and now Waiguru awaits the fate of Senate House.
The embattled Waiguru has been accused of gross misconduct including allocating herself about 10.8 million on transport and tours.
On her side, she has dismissed the allegations stating that the MCAs are malicious and baseless looking to taint her name
