Graphic designer

African Nazarene University are looking to recruit suitable individuals to fill the position of a; Graphic Designer / Photographer.
To support the university’s overall creative needs, development and implementation of themes and campaign that reinforce the trajectory of the ANU brand. The role incorporates both graphic design and photographer.
Roles and Responsibilities

1)Develop and design a range of artworks and layouts ready for print and or posting.
2)Shoot appropriate photography for use in artworks and visuals.
3)Create appropriate filing systems for all artworks and stock photos.
4)Cover university events and projects.
5)Ensure availability of updated materials on the ready for updating on the website.
6)Determine the message the design should portray.
7)Create images that identify a product or convey a message.
8)Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites.
9)Create designs either by hand or using computer software packages.
10)Using an extensive range of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and specialist software.

Desired Experience and Skills
-Must have not less than 5 years’ experience in the field
-Solid knowledge in adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, in-design, After effects, Flash)
-Basic knowledge in 3D software (Blender)
-Basic knowledge in motion graphics
-Skilled in typography and publication design.
