On Thursday evening Nairobians were shocked by a horrific accident involving two cars.The drive of the car below was chopped off his head from the accident’s impact.
The accident is said to have happened at a known black spot called Gwa-kairo near Kenyatta Ruiru campus.
A survey done by the National Transport Safety Authority (NTSA) showed that Thika Road had the highest number of accidents in Nairobi followed by Mombasa Road.
“More than 1,500 people have died as a result of road accidents, an increase of 1.5% from last year at the same period,” the report read.
About 38% of the fatalities of the accidents that occur along Thika Road are pedestrians while 5% are driver, NTSA added.
