It is quite humane and obvious that emergency vehicles should be given way on Kenyan roads.
And at the driving school, which uses teaches traffic rules enacted by the parliament, spells clear that such vehicles like ambulances, fire engines, police, doctors or other emergency vehicles should be given way.
But remember that you are not supposed to break traffic rules while giving way.
One such rule is stepping on a solid yellow line or crossing red lights would land you in hot soup and end up paying traffic fines.
When one approaches do not panic. Consider the route of such a vehicle and take appropriate action to let it pass, while complying with all traffic signs
Other traffic rules to be likely broken during such moments include pulling on a kerb or breaking suddenly or stopping on a round about.
Always be a quick thinker because at times their may be little or no room to make such an important decision
