Clean Up Kenya was launched in July 2015 to draw attention to Kenya’s public sanitation crisis and to empower the dream of a litter free Kenya.
When we began, we created a people’s petition on our website as well as other world renowned petitions hosting platforms and on social media encouraging Kenyans and friends of Kenya to sign the petition as their commitment to take care of our environment.
We then ran weekly social media campaigns asking people of goodwill to add their voice to our cause. Within six month of launch we achieved a major milestone by reaching over 1,000,000 persons with our message, creating thousands of conversations online and fostering dozens of actions across the country.
Starting May 2016, we are now embarking on the next stage of our project and are looking for two Web Designer interns, one office assistant and a Program Assistant.
The Program Assistant will be competitively remunerated. If we get the right candidate for a Web Designer we may change the terms automatically to a job after interviews.
The interns must be available to work for 90 days upon which based on performance, they may be employed. To keep our inboxes from being flooded, we will only accept posted applications. Email applications will be automatically deleted without reading them.
