Popular Kenyan musician Iyanii turned heads at the Mkisii Festival on September 13, delivering a performance that fans will not forget. Performing at the Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi, he attracted a full house of music lovers eager to hear his hits, including his latest track Donjo Maber.
Midway through his set, Iyanii paused to make a surprising announcement. He introduced his lover, social media personality Shes Kemunto, to the cheering crowd. “I did not come here alone; I came with my Kisii lover. Do you guys want to see her? I want to sing this next for her, so I kindly ask you to come, baby. Please welcome Kemunto, and please greet the people. Wapi nduru ya mpenzi wangu wewe,” he said.
Kemunto appeared in a striking outfit of thigh-high black shorts, knee-length boots, a white crop top, and an oversized shirt. She addressed the audience in her native Kisii language, prompting an energetic response from fans.
